New Car Trouble

Saturday night I got a text from Dalton asking if I'd be down to go shoot some photos in Kitchener tomorrow, Dalton not knowing i was in Toronto I said yes and got myself back to Guelph as quickly as possible. After an early wake up and quick McDonald's run we were on are way to Kitchener and Waterloo. This being my first time going to the Kitchener area with my camera I was stoked! The first stop of the day was the new skate park, after a couple minutes of slipping and sliding on the extremely slippery plastic we called it quits and were off to another spot, but Dillon's car had something else in mind. A good hour later the car was up and running again and we were off to whatever else Kitchener would bring us.

Beginning the day with car troubles.

Hell Hole

For those of you who don't live in Guelph or GTA(Greater Toronto Area), this whole week has been excruciatingly hot and humid. So pretty much its been a hell hole and kept me in the house all week. And today was no different, I'd even go as far and say that today was the worst. But Dalton and Roach were having non of it and took a late night journey from downtown to the south end of Guelph, where I live. Instead of taking the bus like any normal person would do, they decided to skate. Which end up saving them $2.75 but not time. The whole journey ended up taking them almost an hour, so as soon as they got down here we got right to business.

Hype

Wasn't expecting much to happen today due to the hot, humid weather. But after getting a call from Drew that him and Kyle were on the way to pick me up I knew something good was going to come out of the day.
The first spot of the day was planned to be a fairly lengthy flat gap that hasn't had many tricks landed over it and never will again due to the large new plant container that got placed directly in the middle of the gap. So we decided to head into a side of the university of the Guelph that not one of us has ever been to. Thats where Kyle found a new spot thats never been skated and no wonder why: short run up, tall ledge to get over, and after landing its a close call right beside a rail. After a short frustrating time Kyle had to walk away without landing the trick he had to mind. The next spot where some flat bars and some weirdly shaped obstacles, but the extremely hot sun that placed it self directly over us kept are session short and running to mcdonalds for some large dollar drinks. After getting refreshments and some food we were off to the final two stops of the day.

First time ever been skated. Kyle ollie.

One flash didn't fire but i was still pretty stoked on the

Even Drew decided to get a trick on

Toronto

Made little trip to Toronto for a couple of days with Alex, and Peter. Even when we didn't do much and kept it in the park most of the time, it was a fun solid couple days.
Even Sean Malto decided to stop by and get some skating done at ab.

Finally Here!

Summer has finally arrived! Stoked! But that wasn't the story this weekend. Unstoked. Overcast skies, rain, and thunderstorms ruined all hope for a good session. Luckily we got a brief moment of no rain and dry ground. Knowing the time was ticking before another storm we got right to it. The old folks home handrail was the first stop and it didn't take long before we were packing up and heading to the next spot. Dillon tired to get something done at the 3 set ledge, but ended getting worked and walking away with a gnarly whole in his hand. And to no surprise the rain came down again and sent everyone home.

Kitchener this week so stay tuned for more posts.

Wood and Water Don't Mix

At the end of an uneventful weekend we decided to get a little session going Sunday afternoon. After a quick warm and one long kickflip at the shoppers plaza we headed over towards laugh land. Unfortunately the sprinklers weren't in a good mood and the session ended as fast as it started.

Peter sacrifice's his shirt to dry up the spot.

New Spot!

After much debate on what spot to skate we decided to create are own. After a quick trip to the local hardware store for some cement we got to work. An hour later and the ledges were ready to be skated.
Heading to Toronto tomorrow! Should be fun.

Putting everything together.
